General Shipping Guidlelines Mountainman uses UPS Standard shipping for most of its shipments. Fedex and US Postal Mail are available by special request, additional fees may apply.

Mountainman will ship within the United States and Canada, international shipments are available by special request, addtional fees may apply.

Shipment will occur on most standard items within 7 to 10 days.

Mountainman reuses and recycles cardboard boxes and other shipping supplies in line with our policy of preserving the earth and our natural resources.

Mountainman is not responsible for slow, delayed, damaged or lost shipments.

Shipping charges on standard items and orders will be charged according the the rate chart below.

We reserve the right to change our shipping policies at any time.

Additional Shipping: Some items require additional shipping charges.

Canoe, Kayak & Other Oversize Shipping Shipping on oversize items is available within the United States and Canada at exact freight cost. Mountainman can ship oversize via Fedex Freight, Central Transport, Overnite Transport and other less-than-truckload freight carriers.

Freight shipping is available to your residence or for lower cost to a freight terminal.

Freight shipping is not available for some lightweight canoes and kayaks made from more fragile materials. To receive a quote on freight shipping call our Old Forge store (315) 369-6672 or e-mail sales@mountainmanoutdoors.com. Be sure to include your zip code for an accurate quote. Unwrap your canoe or kayak immediately upon receiving to inspect for damage, once you have signed for the shipment, Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company nor its shipping company are responsible for any damage incurred! i.e. - The boat is now yours.

Freight shipping is not cheap! We try to give you the best deal we can, just remember that other companies that offer shipping for less are often charging more for their product.



Refund Policy
Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company reserves the right to change its refund policies and procedures at any time.

• Item returns must be made within 30 days of the sale.
• Returns must be in unused condition with all original tags and accompanied by receipt of sale.
• There are no refunds on rentals or rental reservations.
• All canoe and kayak sales are final, there are no returns. No Exceptions!!!
• Shipping and return shipping fees are not refundable.
• Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company is not responsible for lost, damaged or unreceived shipments.
• Deposits for canoes and kayaks are non-refundable. Deposits may be transferred towards the purchase of a different canoe or kayak.
• Deposits for rental reservations are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
• Deposits for canoes and kayaks will only be valid for 60 days, after which time your deposit is lost or must be paid in full.
• Test paddle fees are not refundable and only applicable to a canoe or kayak purchase within 30 days. For more on our test paddling information click here.
